Why Cuyo?

Cuyo takes its name from the cocuyo, a luminous click beetle of the genus Pyrophorus.

These beetles produce their own light through bioluminescence. A small creature with a glow of its own.

That is where our name begins: with the cocuyo. We shortened it to Cuyo, and made it the name of our independent software studio.

Small apps, made carefully.
